This Years theme is "Fast Foods." The Coronation ceremony will be held in the gymnasium. Grades 7-12 Skit Contest is at 8:30 a.m. main gym, open to public. Parade will begin Friday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. Due to the main street construction progress, an alternative route will be used.

The responsibilities of the Labor Day Queen began for Reese as she joined in walking through the Kiddie Parade Saturday morning with Shay Mednansky, Wagner Labor Day Committee member.

The Class of 1971 will be celebrating their 50 year class reunion on Saturday, September 11th at Pour Corner. Anyone wanting to visit with the 1971 classmates, is invited to join them after 6:30 p.m.

September 1911 Klas Walkes has joined the auto circle with a brand new five passengar Overland. Monday night there were some strangers who sold various merchandise on Main Street. The auctioneer's tongue was slick and had the crown coming his way.

The LIbrary with the help from a grant from the SD Humanities Council will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. A viewing of a video produced by the 9/11 Museum in New York city will be viewed along with a set of commemoration posters produced by the same Museum.
