LifeServe Blood Center, the SOLE supplier of blood and blood products to area hospitals, is seeking eligible blood donors to give blood at the upcoming community blood drive.

The Board of Directors meeting for the Lake Andes Carnegie Public Library will be meeting on Monday, Sept 20th at 4:45 p.m. in the library. This meeting is open to the public. The Library has acquired books promoted by the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

The Wagner Rotary Club convened Wednesday September 8, with one special guest in attendance. William Woods accompanied his mother to the meeting. William went around to each table and fist bumped and shook hands to the delight of all the members.

A Developmental Screening for children, ages 3-5, in the Wagner Community School District is scheduled for Monday, September 20, and Tuesday, September 21.

Alice J. Kafka recently celebrated her 90th birthday...Dante style! She is the oldest resident in town, and friends and family came out to share this special occasion with her. There was a small parade, treats, signs, balloons, and a lot of fun! We appreciate everyone for coming out!

The Dictionary Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their goal is to assist students to become good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing students a gift of their own personal dictionary. 2021 is the 25th anniversary of The Dictionary Project.
