4-H SOUP KITCHEN/ RECONITION EVENT

The Bon Homme 4-H ClubswillhosttheirAnnual SoupKitchenonSunday, October 16th at the 4-H Grounds in Tyndall from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m Soups, sandwiches and desserts will be served! Recognition Event will tie into the Soup Kitchen, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

SDDVA MEETS WITH LOCAL VETERANS

The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs (SDDVA) along with the Charles Mix County Veterans Service Office hosted the first “Veterans, See What’s Brewing” event on September 21, 2022 at the Wagner American Legion.

Library News

The tuckpointing of the Carnegie Public Library is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Sept 28th. The front door and front steps will also be replaced at this time. These repairs will allow the use of the building as a Museum to continue for years to come.

Wagner Hospital Auxiliary

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on September 15, 2022 at the Post Home with 13 members present and 3 guests: Todd, Amy and Kathryn Doom. Kathryn gave a report on her week at Girls State this Summer. Kathryn was presented her Girls State pin by Past President Juanita Stone.

Rotary News

Wagner Rotary met for its weekly meeting Wednesday, September 21 starting with a welcome from President Rachel Woods. Rotarian Bill Heermann offered a prayer for the food and fellowship. The club was again honored to have four more Seniors from Wagner Community School visiting.
