When your nose runs, although it may not slow you down, it can be annoying. This time of year it’s difficult to know if your runny nose is from a cold, allergies, or another reason. Rhinitis can be broadly defined as inflammation of the nasal membrane.

At the “What’s Brewing” event sponsored by the Charles Mix County Veterans Service Office and the South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs, Deputy Secretary Aaron Pollard misspoke when he answered a question on Care in the Community.

On Saturday, October 1st, a group of six Wagner Oral Interp kids traveled to their first competition in Winner. The team came away with six Superior awards and two Excellent awards. Superior is the top award, followed by Excellent, and then Good, so this is an exciting start to our season!

One of the projects for the Wagner American Legion Auxiliary is to purchase dictionaries for third grade students in the Wagner Community School and Marty Indian School.

President Rachel Woods welcomed all present to the Wagner Rotary Meeting on September 28th. There were no guests present other than the program attendees. Rotarian/Pastor Bill Heermann gave thanks for the beautiful fall weather we were experiencing and asked for a blessing on us all.

The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital - Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on September 28 with eight members present. Brittany Barron, DON gave a summarized report from the Hospital Association meeting.

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on September 15 at the Post Home with 13 members present and three guests: Todd, Amy and Kathryn Doom. Kathryn gave a report on her week at Girls State this Summer. Kathryn was presented her Girls State pin by Past President Juanita Stone.
