ORAL INTERP TEAM COMPETES AT STATE ORAL INTERP FESTIVAL
The Avon Oral Interp Team competed at the 113th SDHSAA State Oral Interpretation Festival December 2 and 3rd in Mitchell. The following students received Superior rankings and gold medals: Ashley Tolsma (humorous), Kate Swier (storytelling), Sarah and Kate Swier (duet), and Sarah Swier (serious).

Holiday Happenings in Lake Andes will be here at the end of this week. The free movie for kids will be held this year at the yellow building located at 17 Park Ave. This building was vacated by ROCS in August and will eventually be the new home of the Lake Andes Public Library.
