MARK 7:6,7 6) ' He answered and said unto them, well hath Esais prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.'(KJV) Unfortunately there are all across the world and our nation and even in our area--people who claim to worship the Lord-in their own way--which satisfies them, but not to God. God calls them Hypocrites!

They on the outside appear to be worshiping the Lord, because they go to church, but can't wait for the services to be over so they can leave and do what they really do want to do.

The doctrines or teachings taught them are from what people have established is worship.

Taking what should be the house of God, the house of prayer and turning that place into a place of entertainment. And that pleases them.

They should be there to be pleasing the Lord in obedience to His Word.

They honor God only with lip service, but their heart is not interested in what is going on. A true church is established to give God the glory in all the things that are done. The singing of hyms that give glory to God and music that will guide others to believe an trust in Him.

Songs of Salvation, songs of praise and so on that help the people to be up to listening to God's Word preached to them. The true Bible.--that if applied to their life--not only in church, but outside of church as well--will bring God's blessings on them.

Leading people away from the world's ways towards God's ways.Learning how to be pleasing to God and not going to be entertained.A true Spiritual church will bring out sin in proples life so that they will get away from them and please God.

Going to church to please God is why they should be there.

Lip service is a waste of time--hypocrites do it to make others think that they are holy.

Real believers go to church to please God--and without fanfair, others notice that there is something different about them. Their hearts are very close to God. True believers go and not for other peoples sake but for the sake of God.

Jesus would probably say-They not only serve me with their lips, but their hearts are with me also.
