Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on September 21, 2023 at the post home with 13 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Linda Youngbluth. Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer.

America’s Farmers Grow Communities, a Bayer Fund program, partners with farmers to provide grants to local nonprofits to help their communities. Through the program, farmers enroll for the chance to direct a $5,000 donation to a local eligible nonprofit organization of their choice.

On Sunday, September 24, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church held their annual bazaar. Members of the Bazaar Committee who oversaw the organizing and carrying out of the event were Jamie Kuhlman, Jessica Kuhlman, Traci Payer and Jenni Soukup.

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on September 21, 2023 with 29 members in attendance. Commander Clayton Rados then thanked the cooks for the delicious meal. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Wednesday, September 20th found the Rotary Club members back at their usual meeting place after their exciting meeting last week with the “Australian Mob” and our Social Meeting at the Choteau Creek Brewery.

The holiday season is fast approaching and the Bon Homme Food Pantry needs your help to continue to assist individuals/ families in need with a Christmas meal.

Zion Lutheran-Avon, along with Our Savior's Lutheran- Springfield, invite you to help us celebrate Pastor Ken Johnson's 30 years in ministry on Sunday, September 24th. Worship service in Avon starts at 10 a.m. followed by a short program and luncheon at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
