Wagner Community Memorial Hospital - Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting March 27, with seven members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer in unison. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

President Becky Brunsing brought the Wagner Rotary Club members to order on the last Wednesday of March 27th which signaled the end of the third quarter of our Rotary year.

10 Years Ago – 2014 Wagner held their annual Farm, Home, Garden & Sports Show. Terence Krcil and Alexandra Dvorak were featured in this week’s senior spotlight. Wagner Community School held the Make It Happen Conference. Mark’s Machinery held an open house.

Preschool through sixth grade students are invited to enjoy a week of undersea faith adventure including games, music, crafts, experiments and Bible lessons. We will all learn that God is a friend who is real, who loves, whom we can trust, who is forever, and who is for everyone!

10 Years Ago – 2014 The Avon Ambulance Crew held their annual High Stakes Bingo. Brandon Kocmich, Logan Mudder and Devin Tolsma were all named to the LMVC All-Conference. Kocmich was selected to play on the Senior All-Star Game in Gregory.

Charles Mix County Republicans will hold a county caucus April 15th at 7:00 p.m. at Gods Country Campground Event Center 35398 SD Hwy 44. This caucus is the first step of the process to elect South Dakota’s delegates to the Republican National Convention that will be held in Milwaukee July 15 th.

The Easter Carnival will be held March 30th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Yankton Sioux Gym at 400 School St. The library plans to have a booth at the carnival for kids from 0-10 years old. The library plans to have a ring toss game with prizes and children’s books to give away.

10 Years Ago – 2014 Aaron Swanson and Joe Evans were selected to the SCC 1st Team All-Conference. Darrin Hopkins was named SCC Honorable Mention.
