After several months of planning for Sunday, June 9th the stage is finally set for the 4th annual “605 Unity Jam” to be held at the park at Wagner Lake on the west side of Wagner, S.D.. This special day will begin at 10:00 a.m.

The Ihanktonwan Learning Camp will be returning to our community soon, on June 17th, earlier than it has in the past. A group of volunteers have come to us from Maryland since 2010 to offer fun and educational activities for children for a week.

Saturday night of Fish Days Lake Andes held their Annual B ull-A-Rama put on by MCKAYS Rodeo Co. Wagner had two local riders in the Youth Steer Riding, John Krcil and Frank Krcil. Many community members came out to enjoy a fun evening of bull and steer riding. Photos by Barb Pechous.

Beginning June 10, families of deceased and cremated Veterans can apply to receive commemorative plaques or urns from VA if they do not want to inter their loved ones in a VA National Cemetery or receive a government-furnished headstone, marker or medallion for placement in any cemetery.
