The Thunder battled throughout the contest, with Avon holding the advantage through the early quarters and building momentum heading into halftime. The Lady Raiders hosted the Miller Rustlers last Tuesday night in girls basketball action. It was 2008 the last time these two teams squared off against each other. Miller entered the contest with a 9-2 record while the Raiders were coming off two huge wins over # 2 ranked Parkston in class B and then previously undefeated # Hamlin in Class A.
