Read moreWagner Bon Homme gymnasts competed in one of their final regular season meets Thursday in Vermillion. The girls are always fun to watch. This fun bunch of girls always finds a way to take less than ideal situations and shine. They have found ways to shine for each other, or shine simply for oneself when needed. Although they may not have stuck the routines, as we had all hoped, and some scores were not where we had wanted, stuck together, remembered these less than fortunate moments do not define them as a person or a gymnast. However, the way they respond and can bounce back to learn from them are very character building and defining moments. Go out and truly believe in yourselves and teammates this final home meet. Give it your all in Hot Springs at the Region meet. Coach Schroeder and I believe in you!

Once we started to attack the basket and force them to play defense we started to get things clicking offensively. We can’t allow 38 points to open up a half. They hit some tough shots but we didn’t have any help on drives where we should have. The second half we did a much better job containing their scorers. We also can’t get out rebounded like we did. We gave them a lot of second chance points the first half. We have to do a better job of boxing out.”
