These weren’t the typical heroes we see in movies that wear capes and save damsels in distress. These heroes sported “lines of experience” on their faces. Many wore caps or t-shirts that indicated their branch of service to our country. Some had scars we could see; others had scars that will stay buried for a lifetime.

Brenna Lanoue, Kathi Sharp and John Frazier, from the GPTLHB came to join forces with Alan Blackburn, Matthew Campbell Jr., Lake Andes Fire Chief Rod (last name) and firefighter Robbin (last name) to train, certify and swear in the MIS Cert Team.
