The Wagner vol leybal l team’s season came to a close with a 7th place finish at the Class A State Volleyball tournament November 18th. With an overall record of 27-8, it was a great end to a very successful season. South Dakota life and moved to Chamberlain where she was employed as a secretary with the Eagle-Western Construction Company during construction of the Big Bend Dam. While there, she met her future husband, Russell L. Bywater as he was working for the Corps of Engineers, and they were married on November 10, 1964. Although she was a farm girl at heart, she raised sons Russ Jr. and Brian at several locations while accompanying her husband on his work assignments in Denver, Omaha, Rapid City, and Pickstown. Natalie “Ibobdu Win” E. Medicine Bear, 74, of Lake Andes died Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 21 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

As the weather changes to match the month of the year and we find colder temps, high winds, and shorter days our minds turn to activities we can do indoors. The library has shelved all our puzzle collection and we have puzzles for all ages. Putting together a puzzle at the library is a possibility, or they can be checked out for a two-week period.
