With an overall record of 27-8, it was a great end to a very successful season. South Dakota life and moved to Chamberlain where she was employed as a secretary with the Eagle-Western Construction Company during construction of the Big Bend Dam. While there, she met her future husband, Russell L. Bywater as he was working for the Corps of Engineers, and they were married on November 10, 1964. Although she was a farm girl at heart, she raised sons Russ Jr. and Brian at several locations while accompanying her husband on his work assignments in Denver, Omaha, Rapid City, and Pickstown. Natalie “Ibobdu Win” E. Medicine Bear, 74, of Lake Andes died Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 21 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
