Read moreFrom August 16 through September 2, which includes the Labor Day holiday weekend, the Wagner Police Department will be working alongside the South Dakota Department of Public Safety- Office of Highway Safety, and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high-visibility enforcement campaign. The goal is to deter impaired driving and prevent the tragedies seen in previous Labor Day weekends from happening again.

August 21st was our annual visit from the District Governor of #5610. This year’s governor was Bruce Nearhood from the Minneapolis area. His wife Kim Nearhood accompanied him, and they were treated to a steak luncheon prepared by our very own Rotarian Scott McAdaragh. President Jordan Weber called the meeting to order and gave a prayer of thanks for the DG visit. The District Governor had presided over a meeting that began at 11:00 a.m. for our Wagner Rotary officers and committee chairpersons. There was one guest present, Steve Donelan who came courtesy of Rotarian Ken Cotton.
