WAGNER ORAL INTERP TEAM TRAVELS TO LENNOX

Wagner Oral Interp was split on Thursday, October 17, as half the team traveled to Region Cross Country and the other half competed in the Lennox Oral Interp Invitational! Macee Stimpson, Samuel Kafka, and Portlyn Jones all competed in Lennox.

WAGNER COMPETES IN BON HOMME

Wagner competed in the Bon Homme competition on Friday, October 25! All students performed well and came away with some awards, highlighted by Presley Slaba, scoring a Superior Plus in Storytelling, the only competitor that day to do so in that category! With over 200 students competing in the first meet hosted by Bon Homme, Wagner showed what they are made of ! Readers Theater (Presley Slaba, Macee Stimpson, Jackson Rolston, and Taya Stone) scored a Superior. Macee Stimpson & Samuel Kafka scored an excellent for their Duo. Samuel Kafka scored an excellent in his serious. Taya Stone scored an excellent plus in her serious. Jackson Rolston scored an excellent plus in his humor piece!

ORAL INTERP TEAM COMPETES IN BV SPEAKING LYNX TOURNAMENT

Early on Saturday, October 19, the Wagner Oral Interp team loaded up and headed to Brandon Valley to compete in the BV Speaking Lynx Tournament. This competition included over 330 participants, from schools that are in Class AA, A, and B. Wagner brought our 6 competitors, ready for the challenge! In this tournament, there are 3 rounds, followed by finals, for those who scored high enough to qualify.
