SUCCESS AT XC REGIONS

On Thursday, October 16, as the Wagner Raiders Cross Country team pulled into the parking lot of their Regional Cross Country meet, the thunder, rain, and lightning came in too. This was the day originally scheduled for their Region meet but, it was clear that the weather had a different idea for us. At first, they were delaying the race by an hour, then a bit longer. After 2 hours of taking shelter in our buses, the meet was officially postponed as the weather was not going to subside at all that evening. It was a frustrating situation for the racers as this is the race they prepared for and it was to be a 3:30 start. Instead, their race was rescheduled for the following day at 11:00am. This time change could have made it difficult for many runners, but not for The Raiders Cross Country Team.

LADY RAIDERS STRIKE DOWN THUNDER

The Wagner Volleyball team hosted the AC/DC Thunder on Thursday, October 16th. The Lady Raiders came out ready to play and swept the Thunder with scores of 25-6, 25-11, and 25-18. It was parent’s night and Senior Night as we thanked our parents and recognized our three amazing seniors: Libby Kotab, Brylie Link and Ashlyn Koupal. These three ladies will surely be missed!

WAGNER FALLS SHORT TO PARKSTON

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Parkston to take on the Trojans in the Annual Dig Pink Match. Both teams battled and pushed the match into 5 sets. Wagner came up short with scores of 23-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, and 4-15.
