Two VIPs (Very Important Pigs) visited Avon Public Library’s final Summer Reading Program(SRP)sessiononJuly 24th, much to the delight of the 44 children who attended. The Yorkshire barrow named Oscar and cross bred gilt named Bo Peep were brought to Avon by Landon and Rilyn Thury, who let the youngsters not just pet the pigs, but also try their hand at showing pigs.
