Read moreThe Awana Clubs at First Baptist Church will again be having their Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat event this year on Wednesday, October 30. Between the times of 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm they will be going through the streets of Avon collecting items to be taken to the Bon Homme Food Pantry in Tyndall. Items that are currently in greater need are: cereal (hot or cold), personal care items (toothpaste and brushes, shampoo), taco fixings, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, pasta and sauces, paper products, and ketchup. If you have items you would like the children to pick up, please have a light on at your door and they will stop. If you will not be home and would like to donate you may leave your items in the entry of First Baptist Church anytime on October 30. The Food Pantry has been amazed and appreciative of the generosity of the people of Avon in response to this event. Thank you for your participation.
