Boys & Girls Club’s Youth of the Year, Hunter Lhotak, recently took another step in his mission to teach valuable life lessons through sports by collaborating with the Mount Marty Lancers Football team to co-host a football camp for young boys. With the help of 10 volunteer players, the camp provided a unique opportunity for 20 kids from the Wagner Boys & Girls Club to play ball in the Lancer Filed House. The Club Kids learned essential football skills while also reinforcing the interpersonal skills of Hunter’s Pass & Receive program. The Camp concluded with a Star Quilt presentation to Mount Marty Football Coach, Sam Guest, as Jerome Kills Small sang an honor song.
