KONSPIRACY COSPLAY

Retirement did not mean slowing down for Gretchen Esplund, a former doctor turned shop owner of the creative and fun business in Wagner, called Konspiracy Cosplay. The shop offers sewing services, and sells a variety of amazing pieces ranging from renaissance costumes to hand bags to plush items to pillows, blankets, hats, and more. The shop is also affiliated with Jim’s Formal Wear. It is a family affair, as Esplund is a mother of four and runs the business with her two oldest children.

Richard died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Funeral services were Saturday, October 2 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Wake services began Thursday at the Legion Hall. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

President Elect Becky Brunsing called the Wagner Rotary Club to order on Wednesday, September 29th. The ringing of the bell was an incredibly soft touch which Assistant Sergeant at Arms Jeff Doom quickly remedied by grabbing the gavel and giving the bell a loud hit. Rotarians bowed their heads in prayer as Pastor Laurie Kidd gave thanks for all the people in our lives, past and present, and asked for guidance in our relationships in the community.
