Services for Minerva Ann Jandreau were held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Wake services began June 7th at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of the arrangements.

Richard Arnold Carda, age 92, of Janesville died on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Born on April 24, 1931, in Geddes, he was the only child born to Stephen and Irene (Rokusek) Carda.

Sophia Winckler, age 97 of Tyndall, died Sunday, May 21, 2023 at St. Michael's Hospital, Tyndall. Her funeral was held May 25 at United Methodist Church in Tyndall, with Pastor Bill Van Gerpen officiating. Burial was in the Tyndall Cemetery.

Kenneth Francis Johnson passed away on May 25, 2023 surrounded by his family at the Dougherty Hospice House after a brief illness and broken heart. Kenneth's funeral will be Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel (7400 S. Minnesota Ave. Sioux Falls).

Funeral Mass for Dennis Hoilien, 70, of Pickstown will be held at Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. The service will be live streamed at stpaulstmark.com. Rosary/ Wake services will be Tuesday, May 30 at 7 p.m. at the St. Mark’s.

Gloria Jean (Bearsheart) Reiter was born on September 3, 1949, in Mobridge to Lawrence and Ella Bearsheart. Gloria passed away suddenly Thursday, May 18, 2023, in her home. Services will be on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m.

A Funeral Mass for Amy Hoilien, 70, of Pickstown will be held at Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. The service will be live streamed at stpaulstmark. com. Inurnment will be in St. Mark’s Catholic Cemetery, Lake Andes.

Betty Hrdlicka, 75, of Tripp, died Thursday February 2, 2023, at her home in Tripp. A Celebration of Betty’s Life Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 28 at 11 a.m. at Wagner Lake in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements. Betty was born on March 5, 1947, to Walter Sr.

Elianna Powers, 14 months, was born in Sioux Falls, she was five months premature. She spent the first four months of her life in the hospital. She was a happy baby despite the complications she endured. She brought day and light into our lives for 14 months.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 31 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. Internment for Amy will be in St. Mark’s Catholic Cemetery, Lake Andes. Internment for Dennis will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Ipswich. Wake services will be 7 p.m.
