Theresa Culver, 63, of Avon, died Friday, January 17, 2025 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Tyndall. Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, January 21 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Tyndall. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Avon. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.

Ole T. Olson Jr., age 67, of Avon, died surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton following a brief battle with brain cancer. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendensberg Church south of Avon.

Ardis Faye Gingery, 73, died December 7 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. At her side at the time of death was her loving companion, Mike Econome of Wyoming. Mike described Ardis as “the most beautiful soul he ever met.
