The class of 1940 had a reunion on June 30th at the Springfield Sandbar Marina and July 1st at the Senior Center in Avon with 15 class members attending. Mr. and Mrs. Denis Meiers of CO, Beth of CO, and Brad of KS, were Avon visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs.
Items discussed were: The painting of the cross display and possible places to display it; Tri-County bylaws change; Parade participation; Fundraising ideas, and the SDRTL board of directors meeting.

Special congratulations to Charles Mix County 4-Her, Luke Dangel, as he competed in the National Shooting Sports Championships last week. Luke earned his way to Nationals in .22 rifle. Luke placed 13th overall, 10th in silhouettes, and 2nd as a team.

The Wagner Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new businesses into the Wagner Community. The first ribbon cutting was held at the Wagner Barber shop to welcome Sioux Barber LLC owned by Quentin Bruguier and the second welcomed in Power & Flow Fitness Studio owned by Whitney Weber.
