Wagner Bon Homme Scored 111.20 in Mitchell on January 9th. Vault Results: Emersyn Tucker scored an 8.050, Addison Cuka scored a 6.90, Jasmine Gilbert scored an 8.50, Raelynn Kuhlman scored a 7.050, and Amelia Rothgeber scored a 7.00.

The Wagner 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams were in action on Saturday, January 21, competing in the Wagner Basketball Boosters Tournament. Stats for the 7th grade games were not kept. They opened the tournament with Kimball-White Lake and cruised to a 45-15 victory.

On Friday, January 13, the 7th and 8th boys’ basketball teams traveled to Centerville for a pair of games. In the 8th grade game, the Raiders jumped out to an 8-4 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 15-8 at the half.

Wagner hosted the Burke Cougars for a pair of games on Tuesday, January 17. In the 8th grade game, the Raiders got off to a fast start as they built an 11-0 lead after the first quarter. Burke settled down in the second quarter as the Raiders maintained a 15-6 lead at the half.

After snow delayed the start of the middle school boys basketball season, practice got under way on Monday, January 9. After one practice, the 8th grade team travelled to Avon for a game against the Pirates.

Wagner battled back from behind to defeat Ethan on Monday night. Wagner trailed 9-7 after the first period and 12-10 at the half.

The Red Raiders traveled to Parkston on Thursday night basketball game. The Trojans did a good job defending and made baskets tough to come by for the Red Raiders all night. Wagner managed just 3 points in the first period and fell behind 12-3.

Wagner’s JV boys basketball team extended their win streak to 5 games in Parkston Thursday night. Wagner jumped out to an early lead 11-9 after 1 quarter and led 27-19 at the half.

The Red Raider Boys took on a good Ethan team on Monday night in a make up game form earlier this season. Both teams started strong offensively, Ethan took a 17-15 lead into the second quarter.
