The 2023 Andes Central/ Dakota Christian Lady Thunder volleyball team is coached by head coach, Chris Derry, and assistant coaches Josie DeHaan, and Lisa Foley. Coach Derry has been coaching for 20 years and this will be his 5th year coaching volleyball.

The Wagner volleyball team hosted the Gregory Spikers on Thursday, September 7th. The Raiders swept the Spikers in 3 sets for a Homecoming victory. Scores of the match were 25-13, 25-18, and 25-15.

The Wagner Volleyball team kicked off homecoming week with wins at all three levels against the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers. The varsity came out ready to play and finished strong with scores of 25-22, 26-24, and 26-24. The JV fought hard and won with scores of 25-21 and 2515.

The Red Raider football team defeated the TDA/AC/DC Night Hawks Friday, September 8th by a score of 32-12 to move to 2-1 on the season. The offensive attack was led by sophomore QB Gannon Knebel who rushed for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns.

It was a windy day on Tuesday, September 5th as Wagner stepped off the bus to take on their hirs meet in Canton, SD. Not only was it windy, it was a very hilly course. With odds stacked against The Raiders, it was time to take a deep breath and come to this race with an opened mind and willing legs.
