Area farmers are reminded that fall crop reports to FSA for their winter wheat and any fall seeded crops can be timely filed by November 15, 2021. Please call FSA for an appointment when time allows and when your fall seeded crops are all planted.

VA has announced that VA Debt Management Center (DMC) debt collection practices have resumed as of October 1, 2021 for benefits overpayments and copayments that were deferred or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The performance of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s The Emperor’s New Clothes will be held Friday, November 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Marty Indian School in the New Gym. The cast of 50 to 60 will be picked from students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Lake Andes Library does not charge fines for late books, dvds etc., but we do charge for lost or damaged materials. During the month of November, we will be accepting donated food items to pay for lost or damaged materials. Each donated item will be valued at $1.00.

The Tri-County Right To Life group met at the Dakota Christian School at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021. President Dan Hargreaves led the meeting. There were six members present.
