The Lake Andes Library does not charge fines for late books, dvds etc., but we do charge for lost or damaged materials. During the month of November, we will be accepting donated food items to pay for lost or damaged materials. Each donated item will be valued at $1.00. All donations will be given to local food banks.

Fall and cooler weather always reminds me that we will be starting to stay inside, and a person can only watch so much TV. Did you know the library has puzzles for check out? There are 500- or 1000-piece puzzles. They are checked out for a two-week period which is plenty of time to put the puzzle together.
