AnewBibleStudycalled, 'Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools'; An Invitation to the Wonder and Mystery of Prayer, by Tyler Staton will be starting. The group meets on Mondays, 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., but are sensitive to people's schedules.

Feeding South Dakota food distribution will be held Friday, January 27 at the Scotland Community Church at 8:45 a.m.; the Tyndall Fire Hall at 10:30 a.m. and at the Avon Fire Hall at 12 noon.

TheAvonSweetClovers 4H club met January 15th at the First Presbyterian Church. Fourteen members were present. President Maddy called the meeting to order. Flag pledges were led by Haley. Secretary'sreportwasgiven by Rilyn.

The Bon Homme Community Choir will be meeting soon to start preparing for the 2023 Easter Cantata. This is will the 84th year of gathering in the Lords name to tell the Easter Story through narration and song. The Cantata was first organized in 1939 by the Avon School Principal.

Reminder the library is still at the location on Main Street, and the hours on the Library sign on the yard are still in effect. New books continue to be received at the library and are available for check out. I will list some of them here and if you are interested stop and check them out.

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on January 19, 2023 at the Post home with 12 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Linda Youngbluth. Chaplin Margie Stone read the opening prayers. The Pledge of Allegiance and Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.
