Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on January 19, 2023 at the Post home with 12 members present.

The meeting was called to order by President Linda Youngbluth. Chaplin Margie Stone read the opening prayers. The Pledge of Allegiance and Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.

The treasurer's report was given and approved.

Membership chairman, Barbara Kucera, reported we have 69 paid members. Goal is 77.

Correspondence was read from District President Karen Richelieu.

Community Service chairman, Margie Stone, reported on the appropriate cards that were sent.

Thank you card was read from the Rocs Office for the food donation to the Wagner Food Pantry.

Kathy Geiman made a motion to purchase four rolls of stamps. Motion seconded and carried.

Linda Youngbluth reported on Christmas cards sent to active military members.

The mid-winter conference will be held in Huron on February 1012, 2023.

Our soup and sandwich luncheon will be held on March 30, 2023. More information will be given later.

Alyssa Mathis made motion to purchase 'I Pledge Allegiance' comic books. Motion was seconded and carried.

There was a discussion of ordering different supplies for the auxiliary.

Kathy Geiman won the basket and donated it back to the children and youth fund.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, Chaplin Margie Stone read the prayer for peace and President Linda Youngbluth adjourned the meeting.
