Vern Edward Koupal, Dante, ranked as ninth largest in registering the most Angus beef cattle in South Dakota with the American Angus Association during fiscal year 2023, which ended Sept. 30, according to Mark McCully, Association chief executive officer.

The 2023-2024 school year marks the beginning of Rosie Koupal’s 50th year of working for the Wagner Community School. After graduating from Wagner High School in 1972, Rosie attended the University of South Dakota at Springfield (USD-Springfield).

On July 7th Hudson Wince entered this world at 10:40 p.m. He is the fourth son of Tanner and Talia Wince, joining brothers Easton, Ryder and Cohen.

The 2023 Andes Central Homecoming Candidates for King and Queen are seniors Cole Bergin, Carlin Hopkins, Anaias White Eyes, Riata Bultje, Claire Johnson and Nevaeh Morgan. Coronation will be held Thursday, October 5th at 7:15 p.m.
