What started out as a thought to be only a onetime event, Stem and Cells toy giveaway has turned into an annual event with 2023 being its fourth year running. Lucy Leines started the event in 2020 during the COVID pandemic.

Food insecurity has continued to increase in Bon Homme County as those who volunteer with the Feeding SD food distributions have noticed each month, as well as a continued increase in utilization of the Bon Homme and Scotland Food Pantries.

Myths are just stories we tell ourselves and others to make sense of the world around us. Myths convey beliefs or values and attempt to tell truths. In their effort to tell the truth, myths may exaggerate or misrepresent things.

Andes Central Middle School and High School presented their Christmas Concert December 7th under the direction of Julie Rysavy. The concert choir sung 'Heaven Everywhere', 'On a Silent Night, Long, Long Ago' and 'Holly Jolly Christmas'.

Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU) officially named Ross Cimpl Interim Athletic Director Friday, December 1st. Cimpl will hold this position until May of2024, giving the university the spring to campaign to find a new full time athletic director. Cimpl was born and raised in Wagner.
