PREPARATIONS BEING MADE FOR EASTER CANTATA

The Bon Homme Community choir is making preparations for its 81st year of the Easter Cantata. This years Easter Cantata is titled “Closer to the Cross”, Celebrating the Journey of Christ. Combining old and new music, with excellent narration to make for a meaningful Cantata.

SUCCESSFUL BLOOD DRIVE HELD

The LifeServe Blood Center blood drive sponsored by Wagner Community on Monday, January 27 had a fantastic turn-out! There were 36 donors registered and 39 life-saving units of blood were donated. We appreciate everyone that came out to help boost the LOCAL blood supply!

AARP Meeting

The Wagner AARP Chapter 962 meeting on January 22, 2020 at 12:30 p.m., was opened with Pres. Jane presiding and leading us in saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America. Old business: Last months business meeting was read by Sec. Dona.

INDIGENOUS TO BE INDUCTED INTO SD ROCK & ROLL MUSIC ASSOCIATION

Indigenous will be inducted into the 2020 South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association for the Band Award. Indigenous--Born and raised on the Ihanktonwan Nakota Nation in South Dakota, Indigenous was a family band that was formed in 1994 until 2004. It started out as a family band.

Timothy and Nichole Simmermon of Mitchell are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Cheyenne Lee Simmermon. Cheyenne was born January 22, 2020 at 1:35 pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 12.8 oz. and was 20 inches long.
