The library was excited to host SD Ballet BEYOND program on Thursday, July 1. Madeleine Scott, the executive director of SD Ballet and four dancers provided a program and workshop for those attending.

WELCOME BACK ACHS CLASS OF 1981

The Class of 1981 celebrated forty years by gathering together on July 9th at the residence of Larry and Noreen Laska. Our meal was catered by Wagner Super Foods.

Stampede Ready!

There have been a lot of changes in the 31 years of the Burke Stampede, but 2021 may mark one of the biggest. It will be the first year that the Stampede rides into the world of Professional Rodeo. The planning and preparation have been immense and spanned almost two years.

ROTARY NEWS

Wagner Rotary met last Wednesday, July 7th with Michelle Juffer being our only guest. Pastor/Rotarian Bill Heermann gave thanks for the beautiful rain and for the food to nourish us.

BLOOD DRIVE TO BE HELD

LifeServe Blood Center, the SOLE supplier of blood to Avera – Wagner Community Memorial Hospital, is asking community members to give blood to help patients this summer. Travel, outdoor fun, boating, and fireworks can all lead to an increase in traumas in local emergency rooms.

RIGHT TO LIFE GROUP MET

The Tri-County Right To Life Group met at the Dakota Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28 th with President Dan Hargreaves leading the meeting. There were 16 members present.

THE MAKAYLA KOPP SCHOLARSHIP BLOOD DRIVE

Please help Makayla reach her goal of 50 people registering to donate blood to receive a college scholarship! She is hosting a community blood drive in Tyndall on Thursday, July 15, from 12:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Community Auditorium.
