VETERANS HONORED AT WCS VETERANS DAY PROGRAM

Wagner High School students Emma Kreeger, Kalea Kuhlman, and Matthew Kokes led the program. Kokes also read his Voice of Democracy essay.

Dennis Clemens was recognized as a Purple Heart recipient. Clemens, a Vietnam veteran, served in the United States Army 1967-69.

Local Veterans representing the US Army Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, VFW Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary were in attendance at the afternoon ceremony.

Father and son, Roland and John Crisman, pictured with wife and mother Mayme Crisman, were among those in attendance. Roland served with the United States Marine Corps 1951-1952. John served with the United States Navy active duty 1974-1978, then Reserves
