Funeral services for Trevor Horned Eagle, 24, of Marty were Friday, August 7 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Wake services were Wednesday at the Community Center in Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Trevor Alex Horned Eagle, 24, unexpectedly entered the spirit world on August 2, 2020 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

He was born on May 20, 1996, to Heather Horned Eagle at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Trevor attended school at Andes Central Public School until his 8th grade year. He transferred to Marty Indian School, where he formed and participated in football.

Trevor was raised in Ravinia by his grandparents, Ernie and Ardyce Neault. During his adult life, he took on a trade in roofing. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a golden sense of humor and could turn anyone’s bad mood into a good mood.

Trevor is survived by his mother, Heather Horned Eagle, siblings: Joey Horned Eagle (Miranda L.), Elayna Weddel (Wyatt P.); grandpa Ernest Neault Sr; and numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and other relatives.

Waiting to welcome him home are his grandma Ardyce Horned Eagle and his paternal grandpa, Harlan Horned Eagle Sr.
