Funeral services for Louise Lucille Sejnoha, 109, of Lake Andes were held October 19 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner with Father Gallagher officiating. Burial followed at Lake View Cemetery in Lake Andes.

Louise Lucille Sejnoha, 109, of Lake Andes, passed away October 15, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Louise was born December 9, 1910 in Lake Andes to Adolf and Anna (Beran) Sejnoha.

Louise attended school in a one room schoolhouse. She worked as a homemaker and had various jobs close to her home. She was involved with the Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Ladies Aid and other senior center groups. She received the Centurion Award from Gov. Mike Rounds in 2010.

Louise often enjoyed dancing, sewing, canasta, bingo and watching the Atlanta Braves and manager Bobby Cox on WTBS.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents Adolf and Anna (Beran) Sejnoha, brothers Joe, Adolph, William, Paul and James and sisters Mary Beran, Ann Higbee, Josephine Mechlanburg, Pauline Franke, Alice Scherman, Rose Dufek and Helen Grimmett.

Thankful for having shared her life are her daughter Maxine (Kenneth) Ritchey of Norwalk, OH, grandsons Todd (Sharlene) Lillo of Norwalk, OH, John (Suzanne) Lillo of Jacksonville, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Second Century Habitat Fund of South Dakota.
