Funeral services for Larry Milk, 74, of Wagner were Friday at the Legion Hall. Burial was in the All Saint’s Cemetery at Milk’s Camp in rural Bonesteel. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Larry Walter Milk was born August 26, 1945 the son of Albert G. Milk and Elizabeth (Kiyukan) Milk, Sr. at Milk’s Camp, Bonesteel. He died Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Larry had five brothers and five sisters. He was a father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. He was also the grandson of Chief Milk and Chief Red Cloud. He was an enrolled member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe.

Larry attended school in Yankton. He started working with Johnson Roofing in Yankton. Then his roofing career started at Empire Roofing in Sioux Falls. Larry made his home on the Yankton Sioux Reservation. He worked at the Marty Indian School boy’s dorm. Then he started working at the art Randall Casino as a Blackjack dealer, then later was the head maintenance supervisor.

Some of his favorite pastimes were attending basketball games, football games, baseball, fishing, hunting and mechanic repair.

Larry is survived by son Richard Milk and Destiny Laravie, son Kenny Weddell, son Ron Milk; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Elizabeth (Kiyukan) Milk; daughter Tina Milk; brothers: Gordon, Harvey, Vernon, Albert Jr. and Orville Milk; sisters: Alcesta Milk, Verada Milk, Martha (Milk) Gray and Ada Milk.
