Funeral services for Ernest Dvorak, 90, of Lake Andes were Monday, June 14 at the Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lake Andes.

Ernest Norman Dvorak was born January 12, 1931 to James and Antonia (Kisely) Dvorak. He passed away on Tuesday, June 8 2021 at the Lake Andes Senior Living Center.

For a short time, Ernie worked on the Ft. Randall dam project, but the majority of his life was spent farming with his dad and brother Richard on the family homestead.

Ernie enjoyed raising milk cows, beef cattle, pigs, chickens, ducks and his protective geese. He especially enjoyed listening to bohemian music and in his early years was quite the dancer.

Thankful for having shared his life are his brother Richard A. (Leatha) Dvorak; his sisters Darlene Wuest and Jeanice (Gene) Anderson; sister-in-law Charlotte Dvorak; and many nephews and nieces.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert E. Dvorak and his brother-in-law Paul Wuest.
