Mel is one of the most encouraging, caring, supportive coaches and humans I know. You will always see Mel at the finish line cheering on her team and she is always right there with a big hug to let them know they did their best. She celebrates every win or loss! Mel truly loves swimming, and you can see her passion at every practice and meet. Every swimmer knows she believes in them and because of that their own confidence grows. Even the most anxious, nervous swimmer builds confidence because of her.
