Evelyn Swanson is the October Student of the Month in grades K-2. She hasn't missed a day of school since we started in August. She comes to school daily with a positive mindset and willingness to learn. I can count on her to give me 100% effort on everything she does. Evelyn demonstrates an attitude of gratitude and is a leader within the classroom and to her peers.

Rotarian Rachel Woods announced that our song for the day would be The Battle Hymn of the Republic. The day before our meeting was Veterans Day which made our song even more meaningful.
