2026-2027 Avon School District Preschool Enrollment
Applications are currently being accepted for Preschool Enrollment at Avon School District for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must be four years of age by August 31. Please return applications by May 29, 2026. The cost for the program is $130 per month.
LADY PIRATES SEASON KICKS OFF WITH A SPLIT AT TRIANGULAR
The Avon Lady Pirate softball team split a triangular last Tuesday at Sanford Fields in Sioux Falls. In the first game against Clark-Willow Lake the Cyclones pushed across a run in the top of the first on a walk and series of passed balls. The Pirates responded with two in the bottom of the first.

The Gregory Athletics Club hosted the 33rd Annual East - West Shootout on Monday, March 23, 2026. The event features area high school seniors and gives them a chance to have a night of fun on the court playing together with friends, whom are sometimes rivals during the regular season.

RED RAIDERS’ SEASON ENDS IN SODAK 16
The Wagner Red Raiders closed out a successful 2025–26 boys basketball season Tuesday night in the SoDak 16, falling to Sioux Falls Christian in Madison. Wagner entered the matchup as the No. 15 seed while Sioux Falls Christian came in as the No. 2 seed in the state.
