WAGNER THINCLADS COMPETE AT SESD CONFERENCE MEET

AVON TRACKSTERS EXCEL AT O'GORMAN AND HOWARD WOOD RELAYS

The Avon track team competed at two major meets recently, taking part in the O’Gorman Invitational and the prestigious Howard Wood Dakota Relays against strong competition from across the region. Several Pirates earned top finishes and personal best performances throughout the week.

RESULTSOn Thursday, May 7, Wagner traveled to Yankton to take part in the First Dakota Relays. This is a meet with some healthy competition as we see teams like Mitchell, Sioux Falls Christian, and Tea. And at this meet, only the top three placers medal and no team points are kept.

KOUPAL NAMED 2026 SOUTH DAKOTA MISS BASKETBALL

Hansen Anderson basketball is pleased to announce Ashlyn Koupal of Wagner High School as the 2026 South Dakota Miss Basketball award winner. Koupal is the all-time leading scorer at Wagner High School with 2610 career points along with 1210 rebounds. She averaged 28.

RED RAIDERS TURN IN SOLID PERFORMANCES ON THE TRACK

Wagner took five athletes to the Howard Wood Dakota Relays this past Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2.Our boys placed 14th in the Class A division of the 4x100 Relay. The team of Gannon Knebel, Shea Kjeldgaard, Beau Otte, and Brayden Kreber tied their best time of the year coming in at 45.07.
