Roger Eggena, 82, of Pickstown, died Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall. A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be Friday, August 2 at 10 a.m. at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Inurnment will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Funeral services for Lillian Dion, 63, were Thursday, July 25 at the Greenwood Community Building. Burial was in the Native American Church Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

A Celebration of Life for Curtis Ray Kaberna, 81, of Wagner, was held Friday, July 26, at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Inurnment was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, with military honors.

A visitation and celebration of Anna R. Rolston Tatum's life was held at Southlawn Mortuary in Tucson, Arizona July 25. Anna passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones in Tucson, Arizona.

Carol Mae Tomic, 80, went to her heavenly home Monday, July 22 at Avera St. Benedict Health Center in Parkston. There will be a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Andes at a later time. Carol was born September 6, 1943 to Joseph and Josephine (Pesicka) Tomic in Charles Mix County.

Dwight D. Hempel, 83, went to his heavenly home Monday, July 22, 2024 at Lake Andes Healthcare Center. Funeral service was held Saturday, July 27 at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Lake Andes with burial following in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery in Geddes.

Funeral services were held for Dennis Ray Olsen, 74, of Meckling, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at his auto body shop in Meckling. A private family burial will be at a later date, Hansen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

John Haar, 71, of Wagner, died Friday, June 28, 2024 at his home in Wagner. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held August 2 at 10 a.m. at the Wagner National Guard Armory in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Christine Marie (Medicine Horn) Selwyn, 79, of Lake Andes died Sunday, June 14, 2024 at the Sanford Health Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Thursday, July 18 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the St. Phillips Episcopal Cemetery.

Richard (Rick) Bastemeyer, 67, of Lawrence, KS died Friday, July 12, 2024. Rick was born in March of 1957 in Wagner, to Melvern (Bee) and Norma Sue (Garberick) Bastemeyer, the sixth of ten children. Rick married Karen Anderson in Lake Andes in 1979.
