JOANNE BRYAN (1934-2004)

went to work as a ranch hand in the White River area. Their first child, Brenda Lea was born followed a year later by Bradley Eric. Charles opted to return to college and complete hisdegree,sothefamilymoved to Springfield. M. Christine and D. Corinn were born during this time.

LEE BRIDGE

Lee Bridge (1941-2024), 83, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Wagner, SD. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner with a luncheon to follow.

WAYNE WENDT

Wayne William Wendt was born June 17, 1949 in Lynch, Nebraska to Vernon and Mary Lou (Soukup) Wendt. He grew up near Gross, Nebraska and was in the last eighth grade class to attend the Gross school. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spencer with his family.

went to live with his mom and step-father Leo O’Connor in Eagle Butte, where he worked as a security guard at the cultural center. Russell is survived by his daughter Chrystal N. Yazzie and five grandchildren: Alric Jr., Dsamon, Deven, Lolita and Kane.

Funeral services for Harold 'Sonny' Cournoyer, 87, of Wagner, were Wednesday, September 18 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in the St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery. Wake services began Monday at the Marty Community Center. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Carol Ann Durham, 83, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, September 17 at Sanford Vermillion Care Center. Funeral service and visitation was Friday, September 20 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. Burial was at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery in Geddes. Arrangements by Koehn Bros.

Jay Bowler, age 77, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, September 17 at Corewell Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, after battling esophageal cancer. Born on December 28, 1946, in Monroe, Michigan, Jay attended St.

Funeral Services for Wayne Wendt, age 75, of Bristow will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 at the Bristow Community Hall with Jeff Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Bristow Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Spencer American Legion Post 78. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.
