ELEANOR ANDERSON

Eleanor Anderson, 103, was born June 6, 1922 at Kimball, the daughter of James and Emma (Pospichal) Moysis. She died Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall.

Eleanor was united in marriage to Jens Anderson on June 29, 1947 at the Methodist parsonage in Wagner. They had one daughter, Peggy. They lived in Wagner where Jens ran the Chevy dealership.

Eleanor was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and keeping a spotless house. She loved cats and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Eleanor always looked forward to the 4th of July family picnic in Pickstown below the dam. She entered the Wagner Good Samaritan Center in 2021. After the fire at the GSC she moved to the Tyndall GSC. Eleanor greatly appreciated the excellent care that they gave her.

Eleanor is survived by her grandson, Chad Anderson and many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy; and siblings: Alvin (Delores) Moysis, Charles (Viola) Moysis, Lee Moysis, Robert Moysis, Ed (Edna) Moysis, Jen (Dale) Conger, Martha (Paul) Gengler, Olive (Wayne) Dunsmore, and Marie (Donald) Anderson.

Services were Monday, March 23 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Inurnment is in the Wagner Cemetery.
