2026 Fish DaysLake Andes celebrated another successful Fish Days weekend June 5-7, drawing residents and visitors together for three days of community fun and entertainment.The festivities kicked off Friday evening with the crowning of the 2026 royalty.

RATZLAFF WINS STATE ARBOR DAY ESSAY COMPETITION

Avon student Stella Ratzlaff was recently recognized for her outstanding achievement in the State Arbor Day Essay Contest.Ratzlaff earned first place at the state level and received a plaque and a $125 cash award for her winning essay. She is the daughter of David and Amber Ratzlaff of Avon.
