ACDC THUNDER 47 WAGNER RAIDERS 70

Andes Central Thunder traveled to Wagner on Thursday, February 6th where they fell to the Red Raiders 47-70. AJ Johnson led the Thunder in the scoring column with 16 points, followed by Peter Backes with 6 points, Garth Maas led the team in both rebounds and assists with 6 and 4 respectively.

WAGNER C TEAM DEFEATS HANSON

The Wagner C team improved its record to 4-1 on Tuesday night with a win over Hanson. Wagner trailed 5-3 after the first period and led 12-9 at halftime. Wagner held on to their lead through the 3rd quarter and extended it in the fourth period winning the game 27-21.

RED RAIDERS PLAY MVP

The Wagner boys faced a good MVP team on Tuesday in Plankinton. The boys kept the game close in the first period trailing 15-16. The Titans scored 27 points in the second quarter and 23 in the third to take a commanding 66-32 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

WAGNER JV PLAYS HANSON

The Red Raider JV lost its third game of the year on Tuesday night to Hanson. The Red Raiders trailed 19-15 at halftime. The boys played hard in the second half but never got a lead and lost the game 50-42. Parker Petry led the team with 14 points, Preston McFayden and Joey Cournoyer added 7 each.

WAGNER TAKES ON HANSON

The Red Raiders took on Hanson on Tuesday night at home. Both teams came out hot shooting the ball extremely well as Hanson got a few more stops late in the first quarter and led 20-13. Wagner cut into the lead before halftime and trailed 34-28 heading into the break.

RED RAIDER JV DOMINATES IN IRENE

The Wanger JV team continued its winning ways Monday night with a big win over Irene Wakanda. Wagner led 14-7 after the first period and 27-10 at half time. The Red Raiders held the Eagles to 3 points in the third period and led 37-13 heading into the final period.

WAGNER TRAVELS TO IRENE

The Red Raiders played a makeup game on Monday in Irene against the Eagles. Wagner played excellent defense in the first period and led 8-4. The Eagles shot the ball very well and scored 23 points in the second period making the score 27-17 in their favor heading into halftime.

RED RAIDERS JV DEFEATS SCOTLAND

The Wagner JV did not have any trouble with the Highlanders in Scotland Thursday night. Wagner led 26-9 at the half and won the game 51-16. Preston McFayden and Joey Cournoyer scored 13 points a piece to lead the Red Raiders to victory.

WAGNER DEFEATS SCOTLAND

The Red Raiders scored 21 points in the fourth quarter and defeated Scotland on Thursday night to pick up a road win. Wagner trailed 8-6 after the first period and 25-23 at halftime. Scotland outscored Wagner in the third period by 2 and led 38-34 heading into the fourth quarter.
