Avon's Kick off to Christmas
Avon Chamber held a fun-filled day for their annual Kickoff to Christmas on Saturday, November 26th.
LUNG CANCER SCREENING SAVES LIVES
This year nearly 250,000 patients will be diagnosed with lung cancer and 130,000 will die from it. In SD, 660 people will be diagnosed and over 400 will die from the disease. Lung cancer accounts for the most cancer deaths in both the US and in SD.
WAGNER AT REGION V FESTIVAL CONCERT
Region V Festival Concert was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. Eleven High School Students from Wagner Community School participated in this wonderful event.

SWEET CLOVER 4-H CLUB MEETS
The Sweet Clover 4-H club met November 13th at the First Presbyterian church in Avon. President Maddy called the meeting to order. Flag Pledges were led by Haley. Roll call was taken by answering the question- What is your favorite sport? Ten members were present.
ELECTION RESULTS FROM BON HOMME COUNTY
The General Election was held November 8th. Bon Homme County total precinct vote results were: United States Senator: 453 votes for Brian L. Bengs DEM, 91 votes for Tamara J. Lesnar - LIB, and 2,010 votes for John R. Thune - REP.
