There were 29 young shooters from Tyndall, Tabor, Springfield, Scotland, Avon and Wagner area that completed the HuntSafe course recently. Two evenings of the course was in the classroom learning about firearms, ammunition and gun safety. The last day, test day, was spent at the Bon Homme Isaak Walton League Clubhouse near the Apple Tree. To the conclude the day, shooters were given the opportunity to shoot clay birds on the Ike’s trap range. Taking part in the course include Mark Rohlfing, Jeremy Bruna, Frank Bult, Brooke Schaeffer, Tyson Humphrey, Ron Conforti, Zander Fathke, Linkin Akridge, Ross Hudson; middle row, Taylor Kirchner, Eli Campbell, Paxtyn Simek, Palmer Podzmiek, Wesley Souhrada, Blake Pechous, Summyt Larson, Colt Wolf, Madisen Nielsen, Abbie Eckert, Breaw Neth, Wyatt Kessler Harvey, Austin Devries, Parker Vaith, and front row, Kalem Hudson, Kolby Dvoracek, Archer Dummer, Prestyn Simek, Whitley Wolf, Jacob Sassaman, Carter Sobotka, Colin Kubal, Cameron Ramirez, Drake Slade, Anyston Larson and Bennett Vavruska.
