The Wagner Volunteer Fire Department sponsored a Tractor Pull Benefit for a new Jaws of Life. Fort Randall Casino Celebrated its 13th Anniversary.

Daughters were brown to Eric and Lynn Grajkowske and Gerri Hart and Eric Olson.

Kelly and Jill Wells were united in marriage.

Wagner’s American Legion baseball team defeated Menno 13-2.

Incumbent Carroll V. “Red” Allen will keep his position as County Commissioner District 2.

30 Years Ago – 1994

The curb and gutter project in south Wagner was underway. Total cost of the project was $39,964.

Melissa Weisser and Shane Odens announced their engagement.

Grand prize winners at the annual Huck Finn Day were Donna Kokesh and Jeff Remme.

Albert and Viola Soukup celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

SPC Teresa Flynn returned from Hanau Germany and was then stationed at Ft. Gordon in GA.

Herman Morgan replaced J.L. Crosby on the Wagner School Board.

William Wiechmann graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the School of Business at the University of South Dakota.

Miss Marjorie Hall received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska.
